Halloweekend Returns to The Perch

This Halloween celebration will include costume contests, pumpkin painting, and spooky golf.

By Michele Kettner October 24, 2024 at 11:41 am

It’s never too early to start celebrating Halloween. With only one week until the spooky holiday, start enjoying all of the Halloween festivities this weekend when you visit Halloweekend at The Perch.

Dubbed the “ultimate Halloween party,” Halloweekend at The Perch kicks off from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.

The highlight of the weekend definitely will be the costume contests. Dress to the nines to impress the judges and wow guests with your spooky outfits. NBC4’s Tommy McFly is emceeing the contest, and Stellina Pizzeria owner Antonio Matarazzo, Vienna Foodies’ Lydia Russon, and the City of Fairfax’s “Queen of Halloween” Heather Ginger Cooper make up the judging panel. The kids costume contest begins at 1 p.m., with the adult costume contest starting at 2 p.m.

There are plenty of fall-themed activities to keep you entertained after you strut your stuff down the costume runway. Guests can try their hand at spooky golf, paint pumpkins, enter the pumpkin pie–eating contest, sip on seasonal elixirs, and capture their day at various Instagrammable moments.

The event is free to attend, but guests should reserve a ticket to receive updates leading up to the event. Donations to Miriam’s Kitchen are recommended. The Perch: 1805 Capital One Dr., 11th Floor, Tysons
