LOOK Dine-in Cinemas opens Friday at The Boro. This movie theater replaces the ShowPlace ICON Tysons, which closed on Monday.
The 14-screen cinema is the 14th movie theater for LOOK and its second in Virginia. The other one in Reston opened last November.
LOOK Cinemas at The Boro has “premium large format auditoriums [that] contain massive wall-to-wall screens, crisp, clear digital projection, and engulfing digital surround sound technology,” according to a news release.
The 14 theaters range in size from 45 to 226 seats. The plush recliner seating has adjustable headrests and seat heaters. LOOK’s theaters have chef-inspired menus, beer, wine, and craft cocktails.
“In the near future, the location will boast LOOK & Dine mobile technology that allows guests to order from chef-inspired menus and craft beverage selections, and all items will be delivered directly to the guest’s seat,” the release said.

LOOK also operates theaters in Texas, California, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, and New York.
