Friday Night Live
Fridays, May 3–August 23
This year marks the 30th season of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce’s concert series at the Herndon Town Green. Three Sheets to the Wind starts the season with ‘70s and ‘80s covers on May 3, followed by Kristen and the Noise on May 10. 777 Lynn St., Herndon
Middleburg Community Center Free Concert Series

Reston Concerts on the Town
Saturdays, May 18–August 24
Head to Reston Town Center on Saturdays for a free concert series where you can sip and stroll with a beverage from one of the participating restaurants. To kick off the series, the first event coincides with the Tephra ICA Arts Festival, formerly known as the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, and a performance from R&B and hip-hop cover band Old Skool. 1818 Discovery St., Reston
City of Fairfax Rock The Block!
Every fourth Friday, May–October
You don’t want to miss Rock the Block, an annual concert series that fills Old Town Square in Fairfax with music, a beer garden, and food vendors. The 2024 lineup has not yet been announced. Note: No pets are allowed except service animals. Old Town Square: 10415 North St., Fairfax
Summerbration at Reston Station
Fridays, May 24–August 23
The summer season revs up with a tribute to Bruce Springsteen at the Reston Station on May 24. Look forward to live music every Friday at the Reston Station Metro Plaza. Summer Jams in Leesburg
Saturdays, June 8–August 17
Grab a blanket or a chair and head to Leesburg for a free concert. No tickets are required. Picnics are encouraged, but no dogs are allowed in the grassy area. The lineup is still to be announced, but performers last season included Todd Wright and Sela Campbell. 25 W. Market St., Leesburg
Fort Hunt Concerts
Sundays, June 2–August 25
Fort Hunt Park hosts a series of outdoor concerts that includes the National Concert Band of America on June 2, the Silver Tones Swing Band on July 21, and Hot Lanes on August 18. Bring a blanket, in case the picnic tables are all full. 8999 Fort Hunt Rd., Alexandria
Music on Mill
May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17
Occoquan’s River Mill Park begins the summer season with funk band Mystery Machine DMV on May 18, followed by Hand Painted Swinger on June 15, the 257th Army Band on July 20, and Side Piece on August 17. The free concerts do not require tickets. 458 Mill St., Occoquan
