The annual Mount Vernon Historic Plant and Garden sale takes place this weekend, and it’s not any run-of-the-mill parking lot sale–plants grown in greenhouses on the famously well-tended estate are available, including sycamore, magnolia, and paw paw seedlings. –James Finley, senior editor
