Brighten up your Instagram feed at Summer House

From picnic tables to work essentials, take a break from shopping and head over to the National Landing BID installation.

Can’t make it to the beach this summer? Then take your work and play to the National Landing BID’s pop-up installation, Summer House.

Located in Gateway Park Green, the beach-themed installation will be open throughout the summer season. Unlike the normal scene you see at the park, it has transformed into a space to work, take pictures, and party. From Wi-Fi and standing desks to Instagrammable seating and displays, you can head over to the park and take any occasion outdoors.

“Summer House is more than an outdoor work space. It is a place to gather safely with co-workers and friends, enjoy the outdoors, experience the return of live music as well as a place to try your hand at fun outdoor games and summer activities,” said Tracy Sayegh Gabriel, president and executive director of National Landing BID. “Summer House reinforces National Landing’s commitment to activating our open spaces, partnering with our local businesses and creating an attractive gateway for our residents, and visitors. We want Summer House to be your convenient summer getaway-even if it is just for an afternoon of work followed by free programming or a fun DJ session.”

Throughout the summer, the park will also be hosting a variety of activities and giveaways to spread the summer spirit. Events in store include coffee breaks, happy hour DJ sets, summer camp activities, yoga, and more.

Each Summer Series event will also bring local businesses and vendors to the park, like The Freshman, Peruvian Brothers, and local yoga instructors. Additional vendors will be announced as the summer calendar is released. Gateway Park Green: 101 12th St. S., Arlington
