The Boro, URBNmarket to host socially distant Oktoberfest

The two-day event will feature a pop-up biergarten, local vendors and a kids zone for family fun.

Fall is the perfect time to enjoy some seasonal beverages and visit all of the pumpkin patches in the region. While some seasonal festivities look a little different this year, there are still plenty of ways to have some fall fun. This weekend, get in your fall festivities at The Boro and URBNmarket’s Oktoberfest.

The socially distant event will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 from 3:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be a variety of activities and areas at the market, including a pop-up biergarten, crafts and vendors. Those who would like to visit the biergarten can make a table reservation for $25, which also comes with four free drinks.

The two-day Oktoberfest will also feature the URBNmarket and Boro Park Kid Zone that will be full of fun, family activities. From fall crafts and cornhole to live entertainment and a mini golf course, everyone one will find something to enjoy.

In order to keep the event socially distant, The Boro has put in place a variety of guidelines. First, there will be a limit on the number of people allowed in each area of the event to ensure spacing. Also, the kids zone crafts and games will be available on a first come, first serve basis and will be sanitized throughout the day. Masks will also be required for all guests, unless you are sitting at one of the tables in the biergarten. // The Boro: 8350 Broad St., Tysons; free entry
