Lights, Bites, and Special Nights

No live animals are on exhibit during ZooLights. However, there’s still plenty to be see. Dozens of hand-painted lanterns and lighted wire-frame displays showcase the animals in their natural habitats.

In addition to the lights, guests will find plenty of holiday activities to enjoy. The zoo will host live entertainment from local groups on each Friday in December.

Guests can also pay a little extra for hot cocoa and holiday treats. Visitors can grab a pair of festive glasses, take a spin on the carousel, or get lost in the winter maze.

ZooLights will also be hosting two special events this season: Member Nights and Adults-Only Night. On December 8 and 9, Zoo members can enjoy ZooLights for free. On the December 16 Adults-Only night, guests 21 and older can enjoy a kid-free experience while taking in the holiday lights. Tickets for Adults-Only Night are $19.
