10 Indoor Entertainment Venues in Northern Virginia

Find golf, escape rooms, slides, sweet treats, and more at these new NoVA fun zones.

No matter the weather outside, there are plenty of new entertainment options in Northern Virginia. Expand your creativity, seek an adrenaline rush, and unwind with food and drink at these exciting attractions. 

Back Nine 

Practice and perfect your swing at the first Back Nine in Northern Virginia, which opened on June 5. This indoor golf facility features state-of-the-art golf simulators and is open 24/7 for unlimited tee times. Golfers at all levels are welcome, and the space also hosts camps, private events, and local tournaments. 316 E Market St., Leesburg 

DTC Expo & Event Center 

The DTC Expo & Event Center will take the place of the former 120,000-square-foot Lord & Taylor at the Dulles Town Center. Projected to the open this year, the space will house exhibitions, conventions, trade shows, and community events. 21050 Dulles Town Cir., Sterling

Hershey Super Sweet Adventure 

This pop-up in Tysons Corner Center offers an immersive play experience that features sensory activities celebrating Hershey’s Kisses, Reeses, Jolly Ranchers, and Twizzlers candies. At the end of your visit, shop for candy-themed T-shirts, ornaments, and puzzles. 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., Tysons 

Level 99

Level99 at Tysons Corner Center is an immersive gaming spot that opened last August. The challenge-based entertainment venue is geared toward adults, and includes more than 50 different mental and physical challenge rooms. Each game can include anywhere from two to six players and run from one to four minutes. The space also includes Victory Brewing, a full-service restaurant and bar. 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., Tysons

iSMASH 

A new “rage room” is coming to Sterling’s Parc City Center shopping plaza off Route 7. Visitors can use sledgehammers, baseball bats, and other destruction tools to smash old electronics, office items, vases, and glassware to take out any frustration. Pinstack 

The first two-story Pinstack is located at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 28, which opened its doors on June 12. The bowling and entertainment space features video games, a high-ropes course, rock climbing wall, bumper cars, two-level laser tag, two full-service bars, and a modern American restaurant. 45275 Knowledge Dr., Sterling

Sky Zone 

Loudoun’s Sky Zone joins NoVA’s other locations including Alexandria, Arlington, Manassas, Springfield, Woodbridge, and Sterling. Try freestyle jumps on trampolines and play games like ultimate dodgeball, Skyjoust, and Skyhoops. Visitors can choose from 90- or 120-minute passes, all-day passes, or membership sign-ups. Sky Zone is also home to Cloudbound, an indoor playspace for kids ages 6 and under. 21000 Dulles Town Cir., Sterling

Slick City Action Park 

For birthday parties, date nights, or weekend family outings, Slick City Action Park has experiences for everyone. This Potomac Mills entertainment spot opened on June 13 and features indoor slides, air courts, a junior jungle, and mini motor cars. Visitors can choose from 90- or 120-minute sessions. Sensory-friendly hours, adults-only nights, and “after hours” events for teens and adults are also available. The little sliders club is coming soon, catering to kids 7 and under with action park activities plus crafts, music, and character events. 2700 Potomac Mills Cir., Woodbridge

Sloomoo Institute 

For the ultimate immersive slime experience, visit Sloomoo Institute’s first DC-area location at Tysons Corner Center, opening this summer. Guests can create their own slime at the DIY bar, enjoy playable sand, and shop for slime merchandise at this two-level attraction. Sloomoo currently operates five flagship locations and two retail outposts around the country. Tysons Corner Center: 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., Tysons 

810 Entertainment 

Previously 810 Billiards & Bowling, this new 60,000-square-foot entertainment space features 26 bowling lanes, billiards, board games, and an arcade. 810 Entertainment opened last November and includes axe throwing lanes, mini golf, darts, and laser tag. The menu offers burgers, fries, and wings, along with shakes at the Mean Mugs Milkshake Bar. Visit the full bar for wine, beer, and craft cocktails. 21000 Dulles Town Cir., Sterling
