Revel in Greek Culture at this Fredericksburg Festival

The annual festival features Greek music, food, drink, and merchandise.

By Maggie Roth May 29, 2026 at 7:00 am

Fredericksburg will celebrate all things Greek with the annual Fredericksburg Greek Festival on June 6 and 7. Head to this family-friendly event to taste Greek food, hear live music, and visit a marketplace of vendors.

The festival is hosted by the Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church at 12326 Spotswood Furnace Road. It runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Throughout the day, guests will get a chance to taste authentic Greek cuisine. That includes dishes like lamb shank, souvlaki, gyro sandwiches, and baklava for dessert. Greek beer, wine, and ouzo — a traditional anise-flavored aperitif — will be available for guests over 21.

The festival will also include a marketplace of vendors selling glassware, jewelry, Greek olives, and more. A portion of the marketplace proceeds benefit the church and local charities.

Visitors will also have the chance to tour the church to learn about its history and the history of Greek culture.
