Kings Dominion is home to 13 roller coasters — more than any other theme park in Virginia. And now the park has added new programming to its lineup.
The new 2026 summer attractions include:
- Cirque Imagine, June 20 through August 16: The mainstage show includes gravity‑defying acrobatics, dance, and theatrical storytelling.
- Jungle X Percussion Show: Rhythm of the Wild, June 27 through August 9: A daytime, high-energy, jungle-themed outdoor percussion show.

- Strike Up the Bandstand and Rock the Night, June 27 through August 9: During the day, a five‑piece band featuring regional and local talent will invite guests to sing along to pop, rock, classic rock, country, and nostalgic hits. At night, the band will expand to more than 20 performers, including singers, dancers, drummers, and acrobats.
- Drone & Fireworks Spectacular: Ignite the Night: July 10 through August 9: On Friday through Sunday evenings, this new show combines pyrotechnics, coordinated drone formations, and music.

Other new Kings Dominion summer 2026 entertainment include a “Splash! Water Parade” in the Candy Apple Grove kids’ area and July 4 and 5 fireworks for the park’s “Star‑Spangled Nights.”

The popular musical Team Charlie Brown also runs through September 7. And the park also hosts daily meet‑and‑greets and live character appearances featuring Snoopy and other members of the Peanuts gang.
Kings Dominion is currently offering deals with up to 50% on tickets and season passes during the Six Flags Memorial Day sale.
