Frolic Through These 6 Northern Virginia Corn Mazes

It just wouldn’t feel like fall without a run through a corn maze.

By Maggie Roth September 24, 2025 at 5:49 pm

Fall festivities are in full swing in Northern Virginia, and they make for some great fun. But not every pumpkin patch or farm stand has the land necessary for an essential fall activity for you and the kids: corn mazes. Here are six nearby farms and festivals where you can take a run through the fields for some good old-fashioned autumn fun.

Belvedere Plantation

Through November 1

There’s a great lineup of fall activities at this farm, including a corn maze. You can take it at your own pace or make it a challenge with your friends to see who can make it through the fastest. Can’t get enough of playing in corn? There’s also a corn box full of dried kernels where you can sit and play like a sandbox. It should be noted that the plantation is a cashless operation, except at admissions. 1410 Belvedere Dr., Fredericksburg, $17.95–$26.95, free for kids under 2

Cox Farms

Through November 9

No fall season is complete in NoVA without a visit to the Cox Farms Fall Festival. Don’t overlook the Cornundrum corn maze, which is full of fun surprises like pirates, caves, and jungles. For a spookier experience, head there after hours for Fields of Fear and dive into the Cornightmare haunted trail. Tickets are only available online. 15621 Braddock Rd., Centreville, $35 for Fall Festival, free for kids under 2, $30–$40 for Fields of Fear

Great Country Farms

Check out the Family Flashlight Corn Maze event on September 27 for an after-hours exploration of the maze, followed by a marshmallow on the bonfire (just don’t forget your flashlight!) For a daytime version, head to the Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival through October 31. Great Country Farms: 34345 Snickersville Tpke., Bluemont, prices vary by event

Harvest Gap Brewery

This brewery has way more to offer than just a few good beers. The corn maze spans eight acres, making it a great challenge for kids and adults alike. Grab an apple cider doughnut while you’re there to really savor the fall vibes. 15485 Purcellville Rd., Hillsboro, free

Wayside Farm Fun

Through November 2

Every year, this farm creates a fun, themed corn maze on its 10-acre field. This year the maze pays homage to Alex Ovechkin’s record-breaking career. Other fun fall activities include a hay mountain to climb on, hayrides, and a pumpkin-shaped playhouse for little ones. Reserve a spot online. 5273 Harry Byrd Hwy., Berryville, $17–$32

Yankey Farms

October 5–31

Explore the corn maze at this Prince William County farm, then pick out a pumpkin right from the field where it grew, take a hayride, and visit the farm animals. Don’t forget to say hello to Moobelle, a cow sculpted from bales of hay. 11812 Bristow Rd., Bristow, $8, free for kids under 2
