By Haley Huchler April 10, 2025 at 1:00 pm

This year, April 22 marks the 55th annual recognition of Earth Day. The holiday was created to advocate for environmental protection and has remained an opportunity for communities to come together in support of the environment. Here are a few ways you can celebrate Earth Day in Northern Virginia.

Earth Day Fairfax 2025

April 26, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Join in the fun of Earth Day with games, entertainment, and activities for the whole family at Earth Day Fairfax 2025. The annual event features outdoor discovery activities and interactive nature exhibits to help both kids and adults get in touch with the environment. Plenty of food and drink will be available from food trucks and a craft beer garden. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly

Earth Day Every Day
