Check Out These 7 Things Reopening for Spring

From outdoor dining to rooftop mini golf, these NoVA businesses are back for the season.

By Micahi Oppong March 28, 2025 at 3:45 pm

As spring ramps up and weather gets warmer, it’s time to get out and enjoy everything the season has to offer. That means local favorites like ice cream shops, farmers markets, and live music venues are reopening for the season. Mark your calendars and get ready to visit these seven NoVA businesses.

Perch Putt

Grab some friends to play 18 holes of miniature golf from 11 stories high — the rooftop Perch Putt is back as of March 25. Once you’ve had your fun on the green, enjoy the other perks and amenities the Perch has to offer, like an onsite tiki bar with a new menu for the 2025 season. 1805 Capital One Dr., Tysons

Farm Brew Live

Dance the night away to live music performances almost nightly at The Yard, Farm Brew Live’s seasonal music venue. It kicked off the 2025 season on March 20. While you’re there, enjoy tasty foods and beverages from destinations including the Pitt BBQ, 2 Silos Brewery, and Papi Chulo’s Tacos and Tequila. 9901 Discovery Blvd., Manassas

EatLoco Farmers Markets

It’s opening weekend for four EatLoco markets, including Met Park on Saturday and Tuesday, Ashbrook on Saturday, Brambleton on Sunday, and the new Dulles Town Center market on Sunday. Plus, check out our guide to the area’s farmers markets to see when your local market reopens. Multiple area locations

Arlington Beer Garden

You can partake in engaging games and activities at this popular bar and patio in Clarendon, which reopened for the season earlier in March. Choose from a selection of two dozen beers and seltzers and unwind with some friends in an inviting atmosphere. 3217 10th St., Arlington

Nathan’s Dairy Bar

Cool down with a frozen treat from the beloved Manassas dairy bar and winner of the first-ever NoVa Wars: Ice Cream Edition. It opened for the season on March 11. Indulge in the delicious menu of sundaes, milkshakes, floats, shaved ice, and rotating soft serve flavors. Other local favorites now open for the season include Woody’s in Fairfax and Effee’s Frozen Favorites in Warrenton. 8948 Mathis Ave., Manassas

Asiantique Night Market

Over 25 food and two craft vendors will be at this monthly night market, returning March 30, Annandale Today reports. There will be a singing competition, with a $300 prize for the winner at the Asiantique festival late in April. 6911 Columbia Pk., Annandale

Catboat Pizza Bar

The waterside pizza restaurant and wine bar is returning April 10, ALXNow reports. In addition to its former menu, it will have more beers, wines, and slushies. And the restaurant now has limited indoor seating to fit up to 50 patrons, in addition to its patio, picnic benches, and lawn. 1 Marina Dr., Alexandria
