Are you looking to indulge in a spring staycation and check out the cherry blossoms in high style? If so, several area hotels are offering special cherry blossom–inspired packages.
Capital Hilton
To celebrate cherry blossom season, guests at the Capital Hilton can write their springtime wishes on tags and tie them to a cherry blossom tree in the lobby. This is the hotel’s spin on a Japanese tradition where people would decorate bamboo trees with their wishes for good fortune for a festival called Tanabata.
The hotel’s Cherry Blossom Stay Package includes two tickets to the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on April 12 and a commemorative tote bag with this year’s official festival artwork. The Blooms & Breeze Package includes breakfast for two, a bento box filled with Japanese treats, a kite, and a picnic blanket. And from March 20 to April 20, guest can book the Bloom Room, a king terrace suite decorated in lush greenery and florals. The room has access to a semi-private terrace with a transparent garden dome with more greenery, spring décor, and lounge furniture.

Conrad Washington, DC
Available through April 30, the Conrad’s Cherry Blossom Celebration Package includes insider tips from the property’s “Cherry Blossom Chef Concierge,” Jeffrey Morgan.
It includes a one-hour professional photography session the Tidal Basin; his and hers rose gold jewelry from David Yurman; a $1,000 gift card to use during a private shopping experience at Scanlan Theodore; dinner for two at the hotels’ restaurant Estuary, offering a four-course cherry blossom-inspired menu with wine pairings; access to the Sakura Club, offering daily gourmet breakfast, dinner, and daily Japanese whiskey tasting; a personalized picnic basket, with gourmet sandwiches and sparkling rose for guests to enjoy at the Tidal Basin.
The package runs $8,000 per night with a two-night minimum.
Pendry Washington DC — The Wharf
Pendry is offering a Picnic & Petals package for two. It includes e-bike rentals and a packed picnic prepared by the hotel’s culinary team, including a Pendry thermos. The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City
The Ritz-Carlton’s Springtime in DC package, available through June 22, offers guests rose champagne and a cherry blossom–inspired amenity at check-in. Accommodations include a daily breakfast credit at the property’s Santé restaurant or for in-room dining and perks like DC maps, cherry blossom event details, and Metrorail passes. Waldorf Astoria
DC’s Waldorf Astoria hotel takes cherry blossom season seriously. The lobby is decked out with festive decor, special floral installations, and a centerpiece cherry blossom tree. It includes a two-night stay for two guests in the new Cherry Blossom Suite. This 1,500-square-foot suite features a living room, executive desk, in-suite massage area, and spa-inspired bathroom with soaking tub.
The package includes a 45-minute in-suite massage, exclusive after-hours access to the Clock Tower (part of the former Old Post Office), a personal chauffeur, a chef-crafted box picnic lunch, a concierge “secret list” of hidden cherry blossom spots, and a Rituals Sakura Collection bath set.
The package is available through May 4 and is priced at $12,750. It requires a minimum two-night stay and a 72-hour lead booking time. For every package booked, a donation is made to the Trust for the National Mall’s Adopt a Cherry Tree program.
The Waldorf also offers a Capital Spring Escape: Blossoms, Bliss, and Skylines package. It includes overnight accommodations in a ninth-floor Skylight collection room featuring a telescope for sweeping views, two signature cocktails, and a $200 credit for Sakura spa treatments. The package run $850 per night and is available through May 31. It requires a one-night minimum stay and a 72-hour lead booking time.

Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C.
The Willard’s Blossoms and Diplomacy Package is available from March 20 to April 14. Guests can learn about the hotel’s historic role as the host of Japan’s 1860 delegation during an exclusive concierge-led tour of the property’s gallery. It also includes a $150 food and beverage credit and $150 credit to The Willard Spa. The package runs $1,664 per night plus taxes.
