The Washington Commanders have given DC football fans lots to cheer about lately. And ahead of Sunday’s NFC match-up against the Eagles, Commanders fans can don their team gear and cheer once more at a pep rally at Alexandria’s Cooper Mill.
The rally will begin at 5 a.m. on Friday, January 24. NBC4 reporter Molette Green will be onsite to host the event, and it will also be featured on NBC’s Today show.

Kick-off for Sunday’s highly anticipated Commander’s game against the Eagles, held at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, is 3 p.m. And for those lucky fans headed to Philly to see the game in person, we’ve rounded up some don’t-miss dining spots.
If the Commanders win on Sunday, they advance to the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 9 at at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
