We are just one week away from Bao Li and Qing Bao making their much-anticipated public debut at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, and panda-monium is in full effect. Don’t miss out on these panda-themed events, sweet treats, and deals throughout Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken

Ever think the pandas are so cute you could just eat them up? Now you can with these panda doughnuts. Available online and in-store from January 24 to 31, kick start your day with these sweet treats. The doughnut is filled with a black cherry jam, glazed with cream cheese, and topped with an Oreo cookie to create the cutest panda faces. 4001 Campbell Ave., Arlington; 1308 G St. NW, Washington, DC

Located right across from the Zoo’s entrance, you can get your panda fix before you step into the reopened exhibit. Pop inside the shop to find treats like panda cakepops, panda cookies, and panda duffins (a combination of a cake doughnut and muffin). You’ll also find plenty of panda swag. If that isn’t enough panda for you, the bakery is hosting a panda cakepop designing class on January 25. 3000 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC

National Harbor

Multiple businesses are celebrating the return of the pandas with special deals and activities. Silver Diner will be giving away free limited-edition panda pins, Muse Paint Bar is offering paint a panda workshops, and The Yard Milkshake Bar is creating a panda milkshake and sundae, just to name a few. These special celebrations will last from January 21 to February 28. Multiple locations in National Harbor, Maryland
