Baseball season is drawing to a close, and teams across the region are pulling out the stops to keep the energy high and seats full. These baseball promotions offer the chance to visit the ballpark without breaking the bank, and you might even score some free merch along the way. From Single-A to the majors, here are some exciting promotional nights to catch America’s pastime in the DMV.

Thirsty Thursdays

August 15 and September 5, 7:05 p.m.

Adults 21 and older can enjoy $2 beer specials at the Fredericksburg Nationals for upcoming games against the Salem Red Sox and Lynchburg Hillcats. Thursdays are also trivia nights at the Michelob Ultra Bar, and adults can run the bases after the game wraps up. Fredericksburg Nationals: 42 Jackie Robinson Way, Fredericksburg

Firework Fridays

August 16 and September 6, 7:05 p.m.

Finish your Friday with a bang — catch a stunning firework show in Fredericksburg after the action ends for the last Friday game of the season. Fredericksburg Nationals: 42 Jackie Robinson Way, Fredericksburg

Peanut Free Night

August 20, 7 p.m.

Everyone deserves to have fun at the ballpark. That’s why the Frederick Keys host a peanut-free night, when no peanuts (or peanut products) are sold, served, or used throughout the park. The stadium is also thoroughly cleaned to ensure everyone can catch some baseball. Frederick Keys: 21 Stadium Dr., Frederick, Maryland

Tuesday Deals and Steals

August 20 and 27, September 10 and 24, 6:45 p.m.

Sneakerdome Night

August 23, 7:05 p.m.

Calling all sneakerheads. Lace up your favorite pair and hit the ballpark as the Baysox take on the Erie SeaWolves. Game highlights include the sneaker showcase hosted on the main concourse, as well as Gotta Have Faith Friday, a promotional where if the Baysox win, you can purchase a half-price box seat ticket before the season ends. Bowie Baysox: 4101 Robert S. Crain Hwy., Bowie, Maryland

Art in the Park

August 30, 7 p.m.

The Frederick Arts Council takes over the Frederick Keys for the night. Players will wear artist-designed jerseys, which will be sold during a silent auction, along with player-decorated baseballs. Painters with the council will be scattered around the park to offer demonstrations and informational activities. Frederick Keys: 21 Stadium Dr., Frederick, Maryland

T-Shirt Hoodie Night

Catch the Orioles as they finish a stellar season with eyes on the playoffs. The Birds will play the Chicago White Sox, and the first 20,000 fans (15 and older) will receive a free Baltimore Orioles T-Shirt Hoodie. Baltimore Orioles: 333 W. Camden St., Baltimore

$2 Tuesday

September 3, 7:05 p.m.
