Comedy Tonight!
It came out before my favorite late-seventies-to-early-nineties era of his catalogue, but I won’t hold my stubborn nerdiness against Side by Side by Sondheim. Instead, I’ll go all the way to Warrenton to see Fauquier Community Theatre’s production of the review. It’s a big weekend for musical theater buffs like me–Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. will be performing in Manassas, too.  –Alice Levitt, food editor/critic

Vroom Vroom
It has been years since I have driven a go-kart. To be honest, sitting in the car an upwards of two hours every day has probably killed the desire to drive when it’s not 100 percent necessary. But the idea of driving around these winding tracks at high speeds has me intrigued. The region has a handful of tracks to speed around, so I’ve decided to make the trip to Fredericksburg to check out the multi-level track at Fun Land. –Michele Kettner, associate digital & research editor

Feeling the Heat
The last day to get all-you-can-eat Mexican for $29.99 at the newly opened Buena Vida Gastrolounge is this Thursday, April 28. If you can’t make it, at least their rooftop lounge will reopen shortly after in May. –James Finley, senior editor
