Aural History
I recently introduced my other half to one of my favorite movies, Amadeus. Since then, we’ve been on a classical music kick. He was just asking me about Beethoven, so timing is auspicious to introduce him to a bit of the old Ludwig Van at Wolf Trap. Even better, he’ll also get to hear some Joseph Bologne and living composer, Carlos Simon, at the same picnic-performance. -Alice Levitt, food editor/critic
New Read
Now that a new month is here, it is time for me to read a new book. Instead of going for a new release, I’m looking to pick up a classic copy of my new favorite book Little Women. After work, I’ll head over to the new Bespoke Books and Archives to peruse their rare selection to see what I can find. -Michele Kettner, associate digital & research editor
