Celebrate the Inaugural Pink Weekend in Alexandria with a ‘Bra Crawl’

Enjoy specialty cocktails and discounts from local bra fitters all while supporting breast cancer awareness.

You may have participated in one or two bar crawls in your day. But what about a bra crawl? As part of the inaugural Pink Weekend in Alexandria, Old Town is set to host its first bra crawl.

The Pink Weekend is a community fundraiser created to foster breast cancer awareness. Proceeds from the bra crawl will help provide community members with access to screenings and treatment.

On Sunday, October 19, Ms. Moxie’s Moon Shop in Alexandria will be kicking off the event. The trail will take participants to favorite bra and bar locations around Old Town Alexandria.

Participants will check in at Ms. Moxie’s at noon. Then they will visit at least seven other local retail and drink stops along the way. Participating locations include Ms. Moxie’s Moon Shop, Lotus Blooms, Bloomers, Old Town Girlies, Andy’s Pizza, Thompson Italian, Alexandria Bier Garden, and Mount Puurnon Cat Cafe and Wine Bar.

Attendees will also have access to a special VIP list of custom cocktails and mocktails at each drink stop, trivia and scavenger hunt with prizes, and raffle opportunities. They can also schedule a bra fitting at the Bloomers stop.

Tickets are $35 per person and include a handful of deals and specialty items. All participants receive a custom reusable cup, a crawl punch card and map, and discounts at participating retailers. Each ticket for the Old Town Bra Crawl includes a $5 donation to the National Breast Center Foundation.
