Belle Mode Intimates Is Moving Out of Fairfax Corner

The lingerie boutique has plans to reopen in a new location this spring.

Belle Mode Intimates, a lingerie store in Fairfax Corner, has announced that it will be moving out of its current storefront. The owner, Nicole Martin, says the store will relocate.

“While we are closing our Fairfax Corner location, we are thrilled to announce that we will be opening in a nearby area set to debut in April or May,” Martin posted on the shop’s Facebook. Martin has not yet announced the new location.

The Facebook post urged customers who have prepaid special orders to pick them up from the store before February 24. Gift certificates and store credit will still be valid at the new location when it opens.

Some of the store’s current inventory is now discounted ahead of the closure.

Belle Mode, currently located at 11889 Grand Commons Ave., Fairfax, is a lingerie boutique with an emphasis on size inclusivity. The store stocks more than 160 bra sizes. It boasts an atmosphere that “caters to women of all ages and sizes.”

“It has always been my mission to create a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated, especially those who have struggled to find intimate wear in traditional department stores or other local shops. Thank you for embracing this mission and helping to make it a reality,” Martin wrote in the post.

The shop also serves as a resource for customers who are experiencing or have survived breast cancer. It offers several post-mastectomy products, including breast forms, prostheses, and post-surgical bras. Martin has also spoken out about her own experience battling triple-negative breast cancer.
