Located just across the Potomac River from Alexandria is National Harbor, a waterfront getaway in Maryland that has a little bit of everything from restaurants and bars to the fun specialty stores.

Here are some shopping, dining, and entertainment spots for you to check out in National Harbor.

Shopping

Bombay Street Food

Check out Bombay Street Food for some street eats and classic dishes of Indian and Indo-Chinese origin. Try small plates, like spicy Tandoori wings or samosas, or opt for a full meal of chicken tikka masala or lamb Vindaloo. 151 American Way, Oxon Hill

The Brass Tap

This upscale beer bar offers 60 different craft beers on tap as well as local and national craft beer in bottles, wine spirits, and a classic bar food menu. Between karaoke on Tuesdays, trivia on Wednesdays, and DJ Frosty every Friday, there is almost always something fun going on. And don’t miss the weekday happy hour drink and food specials. 164 Fleet St., National Harbor

The Irish Whisper

Indulge in some savory traditional Irish cuisine, like shepherd’s pie or bangers and mash, at this Irish pub and restaurant. If you fancy trying a drink, there are dozens to choose from, whether you want an Irish whiskey or a blended scotch.
