Leesburg’s Ashby Mae Children’s Boutique Set to Close

The children’s clothing store will be hosting a retirement sale before closing its doors.

By Michele Kettner July 19, 2024 at 9:50 am

After eight years in business, Ashby Mae Children’s Boutique announced on social media that the store will close by the end of summer.

Owner Debbie Thomas is closing her business because she is retiring. An official closing date will be set in the coming weeks but the boutique will be holding a retirement sale before then.

“As much as we will miss being part of the Leesburg community, Debbie is very excited to begin her retirement spending precious time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends,” the business stated on Instagram.

Thomas opened the brick-and-mortar store in Leesburg in 2016. Over the years, Ashby Mae was voted the Best of NoVA winner for children’s clothing six times. The owner and her team hand-selected every brand and item that was for sale, from outfits to accessories for girls, boys, and babies.
