Lego fans, you will have a new spot where you can indulge in everything related to the building bricks. Bricks & Minifigs holds its grand opening at 10 a.m. on June 8 in Herndon.
The Dulles Park Shopping Center store is an authorized Lego reseller, where you can buy retired sets, bulk pieces, and new sets. You also will be able to sell or trade your old collections, the company said.
In an Instagram post, the company invited people to its opening. “Come look at some of the latest sets. Or peruse some of the retired sets that we have in stock. We have thousands of minifigs to choose from. Or come visit our minifig maker table and make your own minifig. We have hundreds of gallons of loose Lego, and you just might find the piece you were looking for at our bulk table,” the post said.
The store has a Facebook page and is offering those who join its Founder’s Club access to the store before others, as well as a lifetime 20 percent discount on bulk cups and bags. Membership is $150. You can email [email protected] for more information.
The Herndon store is one of four Bricks & Minifigs expects to open in NoVA. The others, according to the company’s website, will be in Falls Church, Woodbridge, and Fredericksburg. Dates for their openings have not been announced. 1064 Elden St., Herndon
