A new Goodwill store opens in Sterling on Saturday, April 13. It is now accepting donations and job applications.
The store at 45380 Manifest Blvd. will have its grand opening at 9 a.m. on April 13. This is the 22nd store for the Goodwill of Greater Washington.
Donation hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. See what Goodwill will accept and what it will not take.
“Ninety-one cents out of every dollar we earn goes toward our education and employment services, so every item donated and sold at our new Dulles location will have a positive and measurable impact on our local community,” said Brendan Hurley, Goodwill of Greater Washington’s chief of collaboration, communication, and marketing, in a news release.
The store is hiring about 30 people to fill positions. Candidates can apply online to be donation attendants, merchandise processors, sales associates, and team leads.
