The fun of walking down King Street, ducking into shops and bringing your new goodies home with you is now on hold. And we can guarantee, just as much as you miss exploring your favorite shops and finding new products, they miss you too!

That’s why a handful of Alexandria’s shops are teaming up to create Boutique Boxes, a weekly package of curated items from The Shoe Hive, The Hive, Bellacara and Bishop Boutique, sent straight to your doorstep. Other boutiques and local shops will be rotating each week to participate as well.

In the first week (which was announced via Instagram on March 30), all of the boxes sold out. Now, The Shoe Hive is taking orders for the second round of $200-plus-value boxes, with this week’s boasting an Easter theme.

Shoppers will receive a box of products including a chocolate bunny from Fleurir Chocolates, a pair of pink floral earrings (valued at $199), a pink candle match holder, two pink pom-pom pens, a vintage lip-licking lip gloss tin, a roller lip balm and an Urban Apothecary candle. The box is valued at $332 and is currently being sold at $198.

The sell-out first round of Boutique Boxes included a Boy Smells Candle, a grab-and-go Pony Pack and E-coffee Cup from The Shoe Hive/The Hive and a pair of blue light glasses from Bishop Boutique, all perfect for your work-from-home routine. From Bellacara, shoppers also received Patchology eye gels, a silk sleep mask, a bottle of Gordissimo hand cream and a Dr. Dennis Gross face mask. The box’s total was $160 (with a $200 total value).

Weekly themes will be announced in advance, and interested shoppers can either send an email to [email protected] or message any participating store on Instagram. Limited quantities are available.
