Event recap: Athletic wear brand Strivers opens at The St. James

The “athleisure” shop merges together fashion and fitness for stylish clothes you can wear both to the gym and around town.

By Holly Gambrell May 30, 2019 at 6:26 pm

The St. James is rapidly expanding, making a name for itself in the Northern Virginia health and wellness scene. It’s most recent upgrade? The opening of Strivers, an athleisure wear brand, featuring both men and women’s performance clothing and accessories, meant for the gym and street.

Items sold at Strivers include sneakers, joggers, hoodies, shorts, leggings, jackets, sweatshirts, T-shirts, tanks, duffle bags and more. The store opened its door with a grand opening party on May 16, with former Redskins player Vernon Davis, Stanley Cup winner and Washington Capital TJ Oshie and model Beija Velez.
