Gabby Klingman, owner of the Georgetown boutique Lynn Louisa, is giving area residents a taste of brands they wouldn’t normally find in the region. A resident of Seattle who moved to the area a couple of years ago, Klingman focuses on luxury items with a minimal slant.
Social Media Roll
Diana Caroline and Katie Marshall of Greenheart Juice, Julien Garman, Haya Tetruashvili and, not so much an individual person, but the #acreativedc feed.
Life Motto
Inspect what you expect.
Dining
I’m obsessed with acai bowls so South Block, Northside Social for coffee, Green Pig Bistro and Texas Jack’s has the best customer service, outdoor patio, valet and, of course, food combination.

Retail Therapy
Well besides Lynn Louisa (above: wearing Ganni cape, $225, and Frame blouse, $265), Mount Vernon Antique Center—a couple pieces in the store are from there—and Nordstrom Pentagon City for my basics.
Pampering
I go to Coatroom for nails and Soothe for at-home massages.

Beauty
Jo Malone’s Body Creme, they have the best scents—I use Dark Amber and Ginger Lily. For hair, Unite’s Texturiza spray to add texture and volume after styling.
Down Time
Wait, what’s a day off? Walking our pup Griffey around Theodore Roosevelt Island to get outdoors and escape the hustle.
