It is impossible for Francis Kurkdjian to make a mediocre fragrance. For the last 20 years he has created scents for notable brands, most recently My Burberry for Burberry, and developed a nose for blends that are memorable. The latest release from Kurkdjian’s eponymous line, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, is the Pluriel fragrance set. The aptly named Pluriel Feminin is created by a multitude of floral notes ranging from iris to violet, rose to orange blossom. While the blend is decidedly feminine, the floral mix remains fresh with added notes of vetiver, patchouli and a subtle powdery finish. It is a scent light enough for everyday and complex enough to impress any perfume lover [Pluriel Feminin Eau de Parfum, $195/2.4 oz; neimanmarcus.com]. -Angela Bobo
