Over the past few decades there have been many fashion trends that either gets a round of applause or a big thumb down from the public. Think back to UGGs in the early 2000s, the controversy that the high-waisted shorts comeback sparked a few years back, Birkenstocks that have now begun to make a fashion statement again or the fedora hat that every woman seemed to give a try, at least once.
While each trend that comes from the fashion world is not an automatic yes for every person, there are some that start and stick – think the skinny jean. With an open mind, consider this new trend you are about to read about and decide, would you rock this?
The brand, OneClique, offers fashionistas an innovative and perhaps nontraditional way to sport their love of shoes across the streets of cities everywhere. In what the company calls “The Clique Latch System,” customers can purchase a top and heel, separately. Yes, that is right – separately. Starting at around $44 per heel and per bottom, you are able to custom-make your own set of killer heels that can later be interchangeable, through just a click.
While the concept may sound futuristic, what woman doesn’t wish she could ditch that extra pair of shoes under her desk for after-work fun? Offering a fun variety of styles and choices (17 tops, and 20 heels) rounding out to about 340 different combinations perhaps OneClique will become the new must-have shoe of this year.
And if you are still a bit baffled by the concept, watch the company’s high-energy commercial to get your heels kicking.
With their pre-sale currently under way, be sure to check out the company before their official launch on October 15th.
