Manassas-based MurLarkey Distilled Spirits, a family-owned distillery, will open Flights & Bites at Dulles International Airport’s new Concourse E in 2026, HMSHost and the Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority announced Thursday.

Earlier this year, MurLarkey relocated its Bristow operation to a new 25,000-square-foot distillery and tasting room on the NOVA LIVE campus in Manassas, home to The Black Sheep and 2 Silos Brewing. Second-generation Irish American cousins Tom Murray and Mike and Jim Larkin run the distillery, along with a small team of friends and family. The brand produces special release, traditional, and flavored whiskeys, plus gin and vodka.

“We are thrilled to bring MurLarkey’s award-winning spirits and heartfelt hospitality to Dulles International Airport,” said Murray, MurLarkey CEO, in a statement. “‘Flights & Bites’ isn’t just a bar — it’s a taste of home, wherever you’re headed. As proud champions of Virginia agri-tourism, we’re honored to represent the best of our state’s farms, fields, and flavors on a global stage.”

The MurLarkey restaurant and bar will offer travelers craft cocktails featuring the distillery’s award-winning whiskeys and vodkas. Elevated pub fare will also be on the menu.

“By featuring MurLarkey Distilled Spirits at Dulles International, the airport will showcase the creativity and quality that define Northern Virginia’s local producers,” said Chryssa Westerlund, Airports Authority executive vice president and chief revenue officer. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the traveler experience with authentic regional offerings that connect the airport to the community it serves.”

Airport Amenities Take Off

The new Concourse E is expected to bring more natural light, more gates, shorter walking distances, and more retail. It’s set to open in 2026.

Travel retailer Hudson is opening five new shops in Concourse E, including Mercantile 1749, featuring shops like Made in ALX and The Old Town Shop as well as a collection of travel essentials. Also opening will be Tidal Trading, a convenience store that reflects Washington, DC’s Tidal Basin. Metro Made will be a one-stop souvenir shop for travelers to bring home a memento of their journey. District & Co. + Starbucks will offer travelers gourmet coffee, baked goods, and pre-packaged meals, as well as travel necessities and snacks. Beltway Bites will offer ready-to-eat items, both hot and cold, 24 hours a day.
