Woman Arrested for Stealing More than a Dozen Ninja Slushi Machines in Fairfax County

Mount Vernon police have arrested a woman responsible for stealing more than a dozen Ninja Slushi appliances from stores across Fairfax County.

Christine Woodson, 31, of no fixed address, is accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise over the past year. She was wanted on 16 active arrest warrants.

Fairfax County’s Police Department reported that, on August 24, an officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Russell Road in Hybla Valley. The officer observed a rental van committing a traffic violation, stopped the vehicle, and saw two women inside the van.

The passenger initially provided a false name to law enforcement, but was later identified as Woodson.

Detectives from FCDP’s Springfield Town Center Shopping Center Unit worked with store loss prevention and found that Woodson was responsible for multiple thefts across Fairfax County. She primarily targeted Target stores, often stealing Ninja Slushi machines. She would then flee in a vehicle before officers arrived.

Woodson was arrested and charged with several counts. They include conspiracy to commit larceny, grand larceny, 10 counts of petit larceny, two counts of larceny with intent to resell, and organized retail theft. She is being held without bond.
