The Inn at Little Washington and its legendary Chef Patrick O’Connell will join Taste of NoVA, the region’s ultimate food and wine festival, on Sunday, October 12. This is your chance try a taste of the DMV’s only three-star Michelin restaurant right here in Northern Virginia.
“Taste of NoVA is a wonderful celebration of the region’s culinary talent, and we’re honored to be part of it this October,” O’Connell says. “We look forward to bringing a taste from The Inn at Little Washington to the community that has supported us for nearly five decades.”
Produced by Northern Virginia Magazine, Taste of NoVA will be held October 11–12 at the event field next to MurLarkey at NOVA LIVE in Manassas. The food festival is in partnership with Northern Virginia Food Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit fighting food insecurity and waste. Guests can try tastings from more than 120 of the region’s acclaimed restaurants — including The Inn at Little Washington — and award-winning wineries, breweries, distilleries, and mixologists.
Known as the “Pope of American Cuisine,” O’Connell has shaped Virginia’s culinary landscape for nearly five decades. At Taste of NoVA, Northern Virginia Magazine will honor him with a Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the food world. He will also join NBC4 anchor Eun Yang for an intimate on-stage fireside chat and take audience questions.
“We’re thrilled to host Chef Patrick O’Connell and bring The Inn at Little Washington to Taste of NoVA,” says Sang Yang, CEO of Northern Virginia Magazine. “Chef Patrick is a legend who has been key to developing the food culture in Virginia and across the globe for nearly 50 years. We’re excited to honor him at this culinary celebration and give our guests a chance to experience The Inn in their own backyard.”
