If you’ve got shopping to do on April 20, plan accordingly. Several major stores will be closed on Easter Sunday. They include Lowe’s, Target, Costco and Sam’s Club, reports USA TODAY. The stores will reopen on Monday.
“Lowe’s stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20th to show appreciation to Lowe’s associates for their dedication to serving our customers. This day off will give our associates the opportunity to spend some extra time with their loved ones,” a company spokesperson told WUSA9. Lowe’s has closed on Easter for the last four years.
Other retailers that will be closed on April 20 include Aldi, Publix, Macy’s, Kohl’s, and Best Buy.
Major retailers remaining open on April 20 include Walmart, Dollar General, Food Lion, Trader Joe’s, Lidl, Wegman’s, Harris Teeter, Home Depot, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, CVS, and Walgreens.
