Nationals to Offer Free Tickets to Current and Former Federal Workers

Federal workers can catch the Nats take on the Baltimore Orioles for a mid-day matchup.

Opening Day at Nationals Park will be here before you know it. But before the season officially starts, the Washington Nationals will show some appreciation to current and former federal workers with free tickets to an upcoming exhibition game.

On March 24, federal workers will be able to catch the Nationals take on the Baltimore Orioles in one final game before the start of the season. The game starts at 1:05 p.m. at Nats Park.

The limited promotion will provide two free tickets to federal workers. In order to redeem tickets, you must:

  1. Download the MLB Ballpark app and sign up for an account before arriving at the stadium.
  2. Bring proof of your federal employee status. This can be a current or former government ID, pay stub, email address, or other forms of proof.
  3. Tickets can only be redeemed at the First Base Box Office. The box office will be open at 11:45 a.m. on March 24 until the last out of the third inning.

Tickets will be available in select sections while supplies last.

The Nationals kick off the 2025 regular season (the team’s 20th anniversary season) on March 27 against the Philadelphia Phillies. The first 20,000 fans in attendance for Opening Day will receive a T-shirt.
