Around 1 a.m. this morning, the first trains on Phase 2 tracks of the Metro Silver Line began initial tests. The trains ran on the newest Silver Line tracks, including through Dulles International Airport. The tracks will be used by riders when the line opens in 2020. (WTOP)

The Loudoun County School Board has opened a secondary school abbreviated rezoning process for the Dulles North attendance zone. Students in planning zones DN45, DN45.2 and DN45.3 will attend Mill Run Elementary in the fall, instead of Moorefield Station. (Loudoun Times-Mirror)
