The Warrior Canine Connection service dog pairing program housed at Fort Belvoir and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center was suddenly shut down without reason on Oct. 27. The Warrior Canine Connection executive director said that to his knowledge, there were no apparent problems with the program—like a dog biting someone or issues with staff members.

Jordan Baird, the 27-year-old popstar son of Manassas’ The Life Church leader, faces seven counts of indecent liberties with a child plus one count of sexual offense with a minor via computer. All of these alleged incidents took place with one The Life Church attendee. Baird will appear before a Prince William County Circuit Court jury Jan. 8-10.
