Ask anyone to give you the boundaries of Northern Virginia and you’ll get as many different answers as the number of people you ask. There is no definitive boundary for the region that holds the largest population for the state and brings in the most revenue. The area—what we consider Alexandria City, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties and all the cities within—is as varied in industry and atmosphere as it is in entertainment and real estate offerings, but the thing that holds this area together is the constant stream of enviable monikers it racks up year after year: richest counties in the nation (Loudoun and Fairfax); most educated (Arlington); the best school districts in the state (Arlington, Falls Church, Loudoun and Fairfax) and in the nation (Thomas Jefferson High School); healthiest cities (Arlington); happiest places to live (Fairfax and Loudoun) and much more.

But we’re guessing you already knew this since you chose to move here. Let us help you get a little more acquainted with your new home so you can take advantage of everything that makes it great.
