Home Tour: A Falls Church Colonial Fit for an Executive

Falls Church has a little bit of everything you need for the good life, and so does this home.

By Laura Scudder May 24, 2022 at 4:43 pm

Within Falls Church is a stately colonial in Brookside Manor, a neighborhood with a collection of executive style homes in a quiet location. Minutes from major commuter routes and the Metro’s Silver Line, this home oozes curb appeal with its fresh paint and trimmed lawn.

Coming home here after exploring the historic sites and new development projects in Falls Church is the perfect way to end the day, thanks to the space’s recreation room, home theater, and deck overlooking an expansive backyard.

This spot is a single-family home with five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and a three-car garage. At nearly 6,000 square feet, 2053 Stephanie Marie Dr. is a large, manicured slice of space within the Little City.

The spacious central foyer opens up into the living room, with elegant white space complemented by gleaming hardwoods. Travel to the dining room through an archway lined with columns. The dining space offers the same tasteful feel captured in the living room area, with a tray ceiling and a bay window overlooking the backyard.

Cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and recess lighting all bring a unique feel to the home’s kitchen. There’s also a central island with seating and an expansive pantry, pairing function with the space’s eclectic fashion.

Double doors lead you to the primary bedroom, with its tray ceiling and sitting room area. Attached to the sleeping space are two walk-in closets and a full bathroom, which is a feature you’d find in any of the home’s five bedrooms.

Aside from white tile and cabinetry trimmed with gold flair, the home’s primary bathroom also has a luxurious double vanity and jacuzzi tub.
