Luxury condos for sale at Tyson’s The Boro
Sales for Verse, a luxury condo tower that’s part of the mixed-use development The Boro in Tysons, started in spring as the 25-story tower continues construction. Verse is slated to include 140 units and offer amenities like 24/7 concierge service, fitness studio and outdoor yoga space, outdoor pool and pet spa. Developers Kettler and The Meridian Group are behind the residential project, which will be within walking distance of The Boro’s shops, restaurants and entertainment. Verse is scheduled to deliver sometime in 2019.
Prince William’s Innovation Park approves the addition of a town center
The Prince William County Board of Supervisors approved the sale of nearly 24 acres of land to developer Miller & Smith in late summer as part of a plan to bring a mixed-use town center to the business district. Located near George Mason University’s Science & Technology campus, the project would include more than 1,000 residential units, including townhouses, apartments, senior housing and potentially student housing and condos. The parcel of land must be rezoned for residential use before a construction timeline can be set.
State-of-the-art Exo apartments open in Reston
Exo, a 16-story, two-towered apartment located on the Oracle campus and near Reston Town Center, opened in late summer. The apartment community is the first of its kind in the United States to use View Dynamic Glass, a technology that allows natural light in while keeping solar radiation out (and reducing energy costs in the process). Exo’s technology-first amenities also include keyless entry, energy efficient appliances and NEST Smart Thermostats. The towers are wrapped in Alucobond Iridescent color shifting metal panels that give the exterior a kaleidoscope feel with the color changing depending on the angle of the sun.
Sunrise Senior Living eyeing a new community in Vienna
Sunrise Senior Living, the assisted-living facility with multiple locations locally and across the country, is seeking to build a new community in central Vienna. Sunrise announced their intention for the 80-unit project at a work session with the Vienna Town Council and Vienna Planning Commission in late summer, according to Inside Nova.
