After more than a decade homebrewing, Bill Haase, along with his wife, Nikki, who has a degree in German, created a Kickstarter campaign to help launch Black Hoof Brewing Company. The two are planning a European-style beer hall in downtown Leesburg inspired by their trips to German microbreweries. Beers lean German with Full Quiver Märzen, Island Pond Hefeweizen and Reh of Sunshine Helles, plus a porter, brown ale and, of course, an IPA.
