Yesterday the James Beard Awards named its 2016 nominees for the best in restaurants, cookbooks and food-related televisions shows and journalism.
The lone Northern Virginia finalist, for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, is Peter Chang, who in the last few years started peppering the state with his eponymous restaurants, including those in Fredericksburg and Arlington. Order the bamboo fish when you go. Let me know what you think.
