Honor Brewing will unveil a new beer, Homefront, during a special release event on July 4. This special edition IPA was brewed as part of the Hops for Heroes campaign, and all proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels.
Soldiers’ Angels is a global organization that provides aid to active military members, veterans, and their families. Last year, the nonprofit offered support to over 1.3 million people, according to a news release from Honor Brewing.
Every year, this fundraising campaign invites up to 50 breweries to make the custom recipe Homefront IPA and donate all proceeds to the nonprofit. Honor Brewing is one of 14 breweries that are currently participating.
“Homefront is an American-style IPA aged on maple baseball bats,” Honor Brewing said. “This IPA does more than just quench your thirst, it improves the lives of our service members.”
Honor will host an unveiling event from noon to 10 p.m. on July 4 at its Sterling location. During this event, attendees can taste Homefront and compete in a raffle for an engraved bat from the Cooperstown Bat Company.
