If you dined at the Ashby Inn from about 2010 to 2014, at this point you might not remember what you ate or what you drank, but you’ll remember how you felt. That was because of Neal Wavra, the former innkeeper, and his gentle command of service. He’s since started a hospitality consulting firm, FABLE, and this summer will open his first restaurants in Marshall: hearth-inspired Field & Main and, next door, Chicago-style sandwich stand Riccordino’s.
