If you can’t get enough chicken salad in your life, take note. At the grand opening of the new Herndon Chicken Salad Chick, the first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year.

The fast casual restaurant chain — opening at 494 Elden St. — is hosting a grand opening celebration on Tuesday, November 18. The location is also offering special prizes through November 22.

The first person in line at the November 18 opening, which officially begins at 10:30 a.m., receives one free large prepackaged “Quick Chick” every week for a year. The next 99 guests each receive one free large Quick Chick every month for a year. The first 50 guests at 10:30 a.m. and at 5 p.m. will also receive a free tumbler.

The first 100 guests to purchase a two-sided entree will receive a free small to-go container of chicken salad on November 19. On November 20, the first 50 guests at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. purchasing a two-sided entree will receive a free tumbler.

The first 50 guests to purchase a two-sided entree on Friday, November 21, will receive a free wooden cutting board and dish towel. On Saturday, November 22, the first 100 guests to purchase a two-sided entree will receive a free tote bag.

The Herndon store marks the 11th Chicken Salad Chick in Virginia. The restaurant is owned and operated by Fairfax County natives Devon Chamberlin, Barry Chamberlin, and Patrick Cavanaugh. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
