Northern Virginia will get a little piece of Nashville with a new country-themed bar, BOE, coming to Clarendon. BOE will have a soft opening on Thursday, September 25, followed by a grand opening on Friday and Saturday and game viewings on Sunday. It’s located at 2854 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, in the space previously occupied by Coco B’s.
BOE is short for the Bodacious Experience, a nod to a notoriously dangerous bull called Bodacious. In keeping with that theme, there will be a mechanical bull inside the bar, also named Bodacious. Bar visitors can test their rodeo skills with a ride on the bull. Or, they can observe the action from the bar or the private bull pen.
BOE’s interior leans into the country theme with a crocodile-leather bar, antique fixtures, and a mural by artists Shawn Perkins.

Food and Drink
The kitchen at BOE serves “Nashville-inspired bites” like cowboy eggrolls, loaded tater tots, and popcorn chicken. Entrees include a Cowboy Cuban sandwich, grilled cheese, and a BOE Biscuit, featuring fried chicken, pickles, and ranch.
As for the drinks, expect signature cocktails like a chili-infused whiskey creation called The Bucking Bronco and a blackberry-rosemary Hayride Hard Lemonade.
Happy hour runs Tuesdays through Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with $3 beers, $5 rail drinks, and $5 select cocktails and shots.
Tiki-Style Rooftop
Alongside the main room’s Nashville-inspired aesthetic, there’s a secondary room, a patio, and a rooftop bar called BOE’s Tiki Bar. This area blends the country style with tiki influences like flamingo-covered walls and a flamingo in a cowboy hat for photo opportunities.
The tiki bar offers cocktails like rum runners and mojitos, plus frozen piña coladas, daiquiris, and margaritas.
This new opening comes shortly after another Western bar, Desert 5 Spot, opened in Washington, DC.
