Fairfax will soon have a new fast-casual seafood dining option. California Fish Grill opens on Monday, September 22, at 11048 Main St.
The chain specializes in made-to-order dishes such as Atlantic salmon, branzino, and rockfish, served in bowls, tacos, salads, and grilled plates. Guests can customize meals with sauces like garlic butter and Cajun. Many of the entrées are high in protein — between 20 and 67 grams per plate.
The Fairfax location will also serve lobster rolls and a wild crispy cod sandwich. And it will offer a kid-friendly menu and catering options that include grilled fish plates, salads, sandwiches, and taco kits.
The Fairfax store is California Fish Grill’s first on the East Coast; additional locations are planned for Alexandria and Rockville, Maryland. The brand currently has more than 60 locations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
As part of the Fairfax store’s opening, the company will donate to its charity partner No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit that works to combat hunger and poverty.
