Tysons just got a little more mysterious.
Guests are now invited to discover The Naisho Room, a hidden cocktail speakeasy discreetly tucked inside The Watermark Hotel, where mystery meets mixology in an intimate late-night destination.
“‘Naisho’ means ‘the hidden spot,’” says Elkrim Mebrek, director of restaurants and bars at The Watermark Hotel. “What will be secret about the space is the location — and how to get a reservation.”
Inspired by the intimate lounges of Tokyo, The Naisho Room is accessible via a QR code discreetly placed within the hotel or through clues found on its Instagram account. From there, prospective guests fill out a request form. The experience is by invitation only, with applications reviewed individually. Those selected are personally escorted to the private lounge — no guarantees. Inside, soft candlelight, curated playlists, layered textures, and skyline views set the mood.
“It’s a very small, intimate space — beautifully designed,” says Mebrek.
At its heart is a bold, seasonal cocktail program rooted in rare Japanese spirits, house infusions, and inventive takes on classics. An international mix of wines, sakes, beers, and cocktails rounds out the offerings.

To complement the drinks, executive sushi chef Hobin Kim offers a refined bar bites menu. Known for his omakase-style precision, Kim serves elevated yet approachable dishes.
“Everything on the bar bite menu is delicious,” Mebrek says. “Also, the sashimi is perfect.”
The Naisho Room is open Wednesday through Saturday evenings, operating strictly by request. Reservations are accepted up to 21 days in advance.
“This gives our hotel guests a hidden gem — something exclusive and convenient,” says Mebrek. “You don’t have to drive anywhere, and you’re in this beautiful space. It’s an amazing addition to the hotel.”
Early feedback has been positive, Mebrek shares. “Guests say it feels like a little piece of Dubai, New York City, London, or Tokyo.”
