When Will Call Your Mother Open in Vienna?

The popular deli will add its 13th location in the DMV in what used to be a Cold Stone Creamery.

Just weeks after opening its bustling Alexandria location, Call Your Mother Deli announced plans for its 13th DMV location at 205 Maple Ave. in Vienna, much to the delight of bagel enthusiasts and foodies.

“We are hoping to open this summer,” says owner and “chief doughboi” Andrew Dana.

Call Your Mother Deli will replace what used to be a Cold Stone Creamery in the Vienna Marketplace, next to South Block smoothie bar and juicery.

“We were looking at Vienna,” Dana says. “It was a no-brainer when the spot became available to go into a neighborhood we’ve always wanted to go into.”

The colorful eatery, known for its mouthwatering bagels, scrumptious schmears, and inventive sandwiches, continues to grow in popularity across the region. The 1,400-square-foot shop in Vienna will offer limited indoor dining space and some outdoor patio seating, Dana says.

“Typical menu, explosive vibes,” he says.

The new Call Your Mother Deli in Vienna is currently undergoing the permitting process, and Dana hopes to be open for business by early summer. The new location promises to bring the same authentic flavors and welcoming ambiance that patrons have come to expect, with the bonus of freshly roasted and brewed coffee transported from the new Alexandria shop on King Street.
