The burger joint will have beer on draft and in cans and signature cocktails.

Smashburger fans, you’ll now be able to have a beer or cocktail with your burger. The new Smashburger location that opens Saturday in Alexandria is the first to have a full bar.

“We are thrilled to bring another Smashburger location to Virginia, this time with an elevating dining experience and full bar,” said Toni Bianco, senior vice president of global operations for Smashburger, in a news release.

“Now the residents in Alexandria and the surrounding community will have the opportunity to enjoy a great tasting, high quality burger accompanied by a refreshing cocktail or beer, all at an affordable price.”

The fast casual burger joint at 5920 Kingstowne Towne Ctr., Ste. 120, will have beer on draft and in cans, as well as signature cocktails, such as Blackberry Smash, Smoke & Spice Margarita, Smash Rum Punch, and Coconut Mule.

The 2,794-square-foot restaurant will be near Regal Kingstowne Cinemas and will seat 71 people, with 12 of those at the bar. The chain’s sixth Virginia location will be open from 10:30 am. to 10 p.m.

For Saturday’s grand opening, Smashburger will offer $5 Classic Single Smash Burgers and $10 wings and beer. There will be swag given away and a chance to win Washington Commanders tickets from the HOT 99.5 Street Team from noon to 2 p.m.
